I have a disability – can I join the trip?

I don't want to buy any tailor made clothes, should I still come on the trip?
Yes! While having tailored clothes made is a big part of the trip, this trip includes visits to all of the main tourist sites in Shanghai, as well as a few off the beaten path. And if you're a foodie, then you will absolutely love this trip too!
What's the exact itinerary?
Go here to view or download the itinerary and to see a description of the places we'll visit - the exact day and time we'll arrive and depart each place depends on conditions on the ground (traffic, weather, timing, etc.). Generally speaking, we'll have a buffet breakfast at the hotel each morning, depart the hotel at 9am for the morning activities, eat lunch around noon, do afternoon activities, go back to the hotel around 5pm to rest, then go out at 7pm for dinner. If you'd like to go out to bars/clubs on your own with other trip participants after dinner then you are free to do that.
Can I make any changes to the itinerary of my group trip, either before or during the trip?
With the exception of the optional places (see the sightseeing page for details about this), it's not possible to pick and choose which places you want or don't want to visit. Please make sure you are happy with the itinerary before booking and sending in your deposit money because it's not possible to change the itinerary for individual travelers. However, if you and a group of friends, colleagues or even your school would like your own personally designed itinerary, contact us to discuss further.
Can I just do part of the trip?
Although you won’t be reimbursed for any portion of the trip unused, you can opt to sign off the trip if you need to leave a day or so earlier. If you want to make prior arrangements to arrive late or leave early before the trips ends, please contact us to discuss further.
If I get tired or just need some time off and just don't feel like doing certain activities on certain days, is that okay?
Sure that's fine, we will accommodate you the best we can.
Will there be any free time during the trip?
There's so much to see in Shanghai that unfortunately this itinerary does not offer free time, except for the evenings after dinner. Typically we'll also have a rest at the hotel each day after the last afternoon activity and before dinner from 5pm-7pm, and you are welcome to do whatever you want during that time (most people take a nap, go for a swim in the hotel, or go to the hotel lobby for drinks). If you want to stay in Shanghai longer or visit somewhere else before or after the trip, then please contact us.
How many people will be on the trip?
This is a small specialized tour, so in order to ensure each person receives individual attention, the total number of people in the group will not exceed 15. Minimum number of trip participants in order to run the trip is 5.
How can I pay for the trip?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club payments from customers worldwide. Reserve your spot today.
Is this trip physically demanding? What kind of shape do I need to be in?
We will travel to most places by private vehicle, but there is a fair bit of walking during this trip. If you are in moderate physical shape and have no problem walking, then you will be fine. If you have a specific concern, please contact us.
I'd like to arrange a private tour for me and a group of my family members/friends/colleagues/clients - can this be arranged?
Yes! Please contact us to discuss this further.
