Does this sound familiar?
- You love amazing clothes that fit you perfectly, but don't like spending a ton of money on them
- You love international travel, but don't like the hassles and uncertainties that go along with navigating your way through places where you don't speak the local language
- You love eating amazing food when you travel, but don't like spending the time researching which restaurants to go to
Well, let me introduce myself - my name is David, and I understand how you feel!
But let's backup a minute, first let me tell you a story...
After living abroad in China for 7 years and becoming fluent in Mandarin Chinese, I moved back to the USA, and realized I had a problem – a wardrobe problem in particular. In China I was able to buy high quality tailor made shirts, suits, and overcoats from the tailor at low prices and get incredible value. But since I had moved back to the USA, my choices for clothing shopping were limited – I could go to chain stores and buy expensive off-the-rack items that didn’t fit me, weren’t customized the way I wanted them to be, and required further expensive tailoring. Or alternatively I could use one of those online made-to-measure companies and pay 5 times (or more!) as much as I was used to paying in China, wait a month or more for my clothes to arrive, hope that the measurements I took myself were correct so the clothes fit me, and still be unable to customize clothes the way I wanted to.
Needless to say, neither one of these options seemed appealing to me, so I decided to do something about it.
I’ve created an entirely new company specifically focusing on combining tourism and tailor made clothing, by cutting out the middleman, bringing customers directly to the source to buy high quality tailor made clothes, and showing them a good time along the way.
The small group of people who come to Shanghai with me on each trip will pay the exact same prices for clothes that I have been paying for years when I lived in China. I will not make any commission or fees from the money you spend on clothing - you will pay the tailors directly.
As someone who has had more than 100 items of clothing made over the years, I am an expert in the process, and am able to ensure that all of my clients come home with an amazing wardrobe at extremely low prices.
While I know that many clients typically prefer individual travel as opposed to group tours, sometimes you have to be flexible and make exceptions, especially in this case...for the sake of fashion! I keep the groups small, and run the trip as if we were a group of good friends, not a traditional tour group. I'll take care of all the logistics and give you a hassle-free experience with just the right balance of group activities and time for you to explore places on your own or with a partner.
